Let you be for now

hope for more of you; becoming

here again; in memory

of your soul

you rest within our hearts

eternal you stay

having left in a blink

without a word; to say

We wither in time, yearning

just to see your presence; glowing

in fleeting shadows of a cloud

scattered on sand; resting

Here we are; gathered

in flesh and blood; torn

in remembrance of your spirit

in the air we breathe; here asleep

We are standing still; on our own

and there you are; so close

yet; so far away

farewell; to a journey in the unknown

The time has come

as it always does; for no one

but for us to join; in peace

in loving memory
