Japan: Donation of Relief Money from Eritrea

In response to the Great East Japan Earthquake, the Government of the State of Eritrea made a donation of 50,000 US dollars (approximately 4 million yen) as relief money for Japan.

From Eritrea, letters and messages of sympathy were sent from H.E. Mr. Isaias Afwerki, President of the State of Eritrea and H.E. Mr. Osman Saleh, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Eritrea and others.

The Government of Japan deeply appreciates assistance extended by the Government of Eritrea and its people.
