EYSC ensures interested viewers that it will publish the programme simultaneously to the TV broadcast on EYSC Facebook and in YouTube.

“the PFDJ’s Eri TV is widely watched in the Diaspora and continues to influence its audience, we want to create another TV channel that does not serve PFDJ propaganda, but the Eritrean people”, EYSC’s Media Director, Aaron Berhane, said. “Our aim is to produce program content targeting three groups, those already actively working towards democratic change in Eritrea, those who remain silent and inactive, and the PFDJ followers.”

The TV studios provide the training and resources free of charge.

“It will take some time to put really professional programs together but we have a big committed team that is determined to turn TV EYSC into a strong media tool against the dictatorial regime”, Berhane continues. EYSC stated that it will put much emphasis on creativity to attract the masses to the new TV while the younger generation below the age of 45 remains its main target group
.
